- how they got their names
- what they meant
- did they have children
- what were their names, etc.
I'm sure the nurses were bombarded with this routine each time a new one came on duty. When we would visit he'd always run a new name by us and we'd toss out our ideas to him. He was never shy about telling us if he disliked a name and I always threatened to name the baby Hillary if it was a girl, he is NOT a Hillary Clinton fan. He nixed the name "Grayson" for a boy immediately and found great humor in "Tate" and the ability to call the kid Tater Tot.
So while we await our next baby appointment, today at 11am, to find out if anything is happening, we know that this little one is going to have an extra special person watching over them. We only wish the baby would have made it here sooner to meet their Gpop Mike but we know that he is breathing easily, taking advantage of the sweet tooth he has and surely canoeing down a river somewhere singing his favorite tunes.
Cheers,
Mic
